Aloha

 Aloha gardeners,

Hopefully this email finds you well, content and full of enthusiasm for the new year.

I want to start with a note of gratefulness to  Elena Kick (D90) for donating, not one, but two new bulletin boards. We appreciate both of them, besides all the hard work that you always invest in the wellness of the garden.

Couple of news and reminders:

-The mulch that we can use is the one located in the middle row, between the garden and the school.

-Please take your garbage home; we are not allowed to use the bins of school or dump it behind the garden.

- Gardeners that don't put the mandatory 6 hours of work at year will be revoked from their plots. Next clean up is Sunday 29, from 3pm to 6pm. The board is encouraging gardeners to bring seeds to exchange/donate on those clean up days. So come get done with your hours, have some refreshments and get some seeds!

-If for any reason you want to switch your plot, let us know; your name will have priority among the long waiting list. Please remember that if you fail to clean up your plot and leave it in good condition before you go, you will not get your deposit back.

-At last I want to welcome Jonathan (B29) and Heidi (D77) as new members of the garden. Hopefully you both find a fertile soil to cultivate not only plants but friends and comrades among us.
