Aloha gardeners,
Your retiring 2022 Board is planning a year-end holiday party to welcome new officers for 2023. Some of you have agreed to serve the garden by becoming officers in 2023, but we are still in need of more volunteers soon. The garden must have officers to stay open.
Isn’t it time you offered to help run this wonderful garden by taking on a Board position for a year? It involves mostly attending a monthly meeting and taking on the few tasks the position requires. Five officers and three committee chairs are needed. All of these positions can be served by more than one person. How about sharing a position with another gardener?
The current officers are now accepting volunteer names for next year’s board. Contact Diana, Will, Alicja, Aggie, Elena or Nicole Boutin if you are interested or to find out more about the positions. All primary gardeners are eligible. That means YOU!
We have five elected officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Applications Officer as well as three committee volunteer positions: Monitoring, Cleanup and Compost Committees.
We'd love to hear from you NOW. Please email or contact us directly to indicate the position(s) that interests you. You’ll also find signup sheets in the tool shed and middle mall of the garden.
